  IDF response to Amnesty Report
*
We find it both questionable and objectionable that a well-respected and ostensibly objective international organization such as Amnesty could produce a report on Operation Cast Lead without properly recognizing the unbearable reality of nine years of incessant and indiscriminate rocket fire on the citizens of Israel...

Merkel joins the 'Stop the Settlements' mantra!
*
German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Thursday called on Israel to end settlement construction, saying it jeopardized efforts toward a two-state solution. "I think it is now important to get commitments from all sides and that includes the issue of settlement building," Merkel said in a speech to the Bundestag lower house of...

Israel is bullied because it acts like a doormat
*
Anyone who acts like a doormat when he visits one foreign ruler should not be surprised when other rulers come along and act as arrogantly as the first. From day one we have let the world understand that we are a country with no self-respect, that we can be insulted and punched and will respond, if at all, with restraint and...

Israel on Trial
*
Just as Spain’s National Court decided to shelve a phony war crime investigation of a 2002 Israeli air strike in Gaza, a group of lawyers and military experts assigned by the United Nations Human Rights Council continued its phony investigation of “the grave violations of human rights in the occupied Palestinian Territory, particularly...

Israeli government 'under assault' from U.S.

The composition of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government is "under assault" by the U.S. and Europe, says a top minister in the Israeli government. For Zion’s Sake Ministries is a Jerusalem based non-profit, humanitarian aid organization - established and dedicated to assisting the needs of newly arriving immigrants. For most, starting over in Israel is physically and emotionally, as well as economically, overwhelming.

After the slaughter of more than 6 million Jews in the Holocaust, the state of Israel was reborn miraculously in one day on May 14, 1948. God’s chosen people began returning to their ancient homeland seeking refuge.

Thousands of new immigrants come to Israel every year to escape persecution in the form of anti-Semitism and economic and civil oppression. Over one million Jews from the former Soviet Union have returned home since 1988 alone, and their needs are staggering.

Most of these immigrants arrive in Israel with only the clothes they carry with them in their suitcases. The transition of starting over in a strange land is extremely difficult for most of the immigrants (Olim). Lack of employment, insufficient language skills, and a myriad of cultural challenges cause many to become discouraged and lonely. Because of these hardships, twelve percent of new immigrants choose to leave Israel.

For Zion’s Sake Ministries assists these new immigrants spiritually and physically by providing humanitarian aid through our warehouse distribution of furniture, medicine, food coupons, and clothing. Direct financial assistance is given through our Adopt-an-Israeli Family program. Thank you for standing with us in blessing Israel!

Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. (Ezekiel 37:12)
