For Zion's Sake Ministries helps support Beit Hayeshua (The House of Salvation) drug rehab center. HoS was established by a local Messianic Ministry to meet the ever rising drug addiction problem in Israel. It is estimated that there are today in Israel well over 20,000 hardcore drug addicts and many more alcholics. Many of these have come from the former Soviet Union. However, there are many addicts also among native-born Israelis as well as among the Arab population. The Old City of Jerusalem itself has become a center for the drug trade.

Drug and alcohol addiction is literally a matter of life and death for the men and women caught up in their deadly snare! Government funds are drying up and state run rehabilitation centers are closing as Israel is entering yet another year of deep recession.

For Zion's Sake Ministries rents out space on its campus for the House of Salvation drug rehab center, as well as helping out with clothing and other needs.

For more information, check out the Beit Hayeshua (House of Salvation) site.

Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither. (Jeremiah 31:8)
