 We had an amazing time with Avi, Corine, Matan, Ruti, Yaffa and Kobi - the families from Sderot, Israel. Our week was spent with these victims who were physically disabled from Kassam rockets of terrorists.  New, Alone and Expecting Their First Child - Denis and Marya came here about two months ago. She was already quite well-along in her pregnancy, staying at home waiting for the baby.  This past week we were invited to a very special celebration. For this past school year (September to July), we have been helping Ethiopian immigrants with a specially developed program. Hebrew language courses were offered to new immigrants in the mornings, but parents were unable to attend because they needed to stay home with their children. Read more...

A Good Day's Work. For three days new immigrants came to select new clothes which were donated by our many supporters. Twenty three families came. We were able to provide many items of clothing and household goods. The young ladies attending university were happy and thankful for the help.  This past Monday through Wednesday, For Zion's Sake visited the community of Sderot were Kassam rockets have been fired on practically every day for the past seven years.  I traveled to Akko by train to visit with Susan of Desert Hope International who ministers to Holocaust Survivors. She received over 100 blankets from our warehouse for the survivors. While in Akko (a lovely town just north of Haifa), we visited a Holocaust Survivor. Yacov was born in 1918 and his wife Sara 1924. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in April.
