Declaring His Righteousness

"They will come and declare His righteousness to a people who will be born, that He has done this."
(Psalm 22:31)

Declaring His Righteousness

Dear brothers & sisters…

New, Alone and Expecting Their First Child
Denis and Marya came here about two months ago. She was already quite well-along in her pregnancy, staying at home waiting for the baby. He was going to the Hebrew language courses the new immigrants take when they begin their new lives here so he could get a job to support them.

When we visited, they didn’t even know how to catch a taxi to the hospital. They wanted to know if we could tell them how!

Now, they have a beautiful baby girl: Veronica. They hadn't any family here, so Denis' mom has graciously come to help.

Each time we visit, they gladly show us photos sharing their lives with us. We were able, among other things, to provide furniture coupons and a baby bed so that everyone would have a bed on which to sleep.

"Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world." (James 1:22)

Visiting Widows
Larissa moved here from Uzbekistan almost exactly two years ago, after her husband had passed away, with her three children and two grandchildren. Today, the three children and their families live together as one big family.

All of the adults have been able to find work, but not enough from which they can adequately sustain themselves. Since they had a big need for furniture, we were able to provide them with furniture coupons.

They were very grateful. And, we are so grateful to our many sponsors who have aided in this valuable work.

"Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?" (Matthew 25:39)

Visiting the Sick
Dina is an older woman we have visited before. She is on our food coupon program while she is battling cancer.

Dina in better days

The visit we recently made turned into a double blessing when we took the coupons to the store and shopped for her due to the weather being so hot lately.

Dina's condition isn’t good; and she is physically unable to be up, take the two buses needed and be out in the hot weather we are having.

It was such a blessing to be able to help this dear woman who doesn't like to ask for anything, or to complain.

Please keep Dina in your prayers asking the Lord to comfort her.
